The Zia Project (Hummingbird 80%) is located on the eastern boundary of Liberia, 140km north of the port of Harper. The project concession area covers 895 square kilometers and is prospective for gold resources.
First-pass work showed some interesting anomalies for manganese, and a highly exciting gold anomaly, in which the possible area of mineralisation was relatively well defined. An advanced sampling program comprising an orientation survey, spur sample lines and soil samples has been designed as the next step for exploration of this mineralised zone. The program will be employed when the dry season encroaches and the area becomes most accessible.
