Logistics
Liberia’s protracted civil war caused massive damage to the country's infrastructure. Monrovia remains without extensive mains electricity or water, and once outside the capital the network of passable roads is extremely limited. Coupled with the remote nature of Hummingbird’s exploration projects, this makes in-country logistics challenging – but Hummingbird has met this challenge effectively.

- The full establishment and refurbishment of Hummingbird House and offices in Monrovia
- Set up of a field office in Zwedru
- Fully operational permanent camps in Zia, Kana Hills and Dugbe Block F
- Cutting and building of over 100km of roads for efficient access to project areas
- Building and rehabilitation of over 20 bridges
