Watch out for a nice-looking update from Hummingbird Resources over the next few weeks. Chief executive Dan Betts is one of the headline acts at the forthcoming but exclusive Livingstone conference which takes place at around the same time as Indaba but at a discreet enough distance to discourage service providers like PRs from peddling their wares. The idea about Livingstone is that it’s strictly for money men and companies only. It’s a serious opportunity for any aspiring miner to show off its wares to people in the industry who might be able to make a real difference to its future.
Dan wants to make as much of an impact as possible, and it’s with that in mind that Hummingbird has been all hands on deck in recent weeks in an effort to get a maiden update on its Tuzon prospect out into the market before the beginning of February when Indaba and Livingstone roll round. “We’re on target to make a maiden resource statement at Tuzon within the next few weeks”, Dan told Minesite on Thursday, before jetting off to Liberia.
