Hummingbird Resources plc was notified yesterday that, on 5th December 2011, Stephen Betts purchased 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company, Caroline Betts (his wife) purchased 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company, and Stephen Betts & Sons Limited purchased 100,000 shares in the Company, at a price of £1.185 per share.
Following these purchases Stephen Betts, a director of the Company, is now interested directly or indirectly in a total of 539,100 ordinary shares, representing approximately 1.01% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Additionally Daniel Betts, a director of the Company, is now interested directly or indirectly in a total of 4,476,648 ordinary shares, representing approximately 8.39% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
The total number of ordinary shares currently in issue is 53,355,565, with options over a total of 4,430,000 ordinary shares outstanding.
