Chief Operating Officer
After graduating from St Andrews University with a degree in Modern History William attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and commissioned into the Light Infantry in 1998. He spent 6 years in the army, serving on operations in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo and the last year was spent in Sierra Leone with the International Military Advisory and Training team, assisting with the retraining of their army where he gained invaluable West African experience. The last two years have been spent working as a security consultant for Control Risks of London, in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, India and Nepal.
Kim Lukehurst
GIS and Exploration Data Specialist
Kim has a Bachelor of Science, with majors in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), soil science and land and water management, from the University of Western Australia. She has over six years experience in developing GIS systems and procedures within companies and managing GIS projects and databases. Kim has worked with GIS in a wide range of fields, in Australia and the UK, including environment and land management, land suitability and plantation applications, energy and transport planning. She currently specialises in the field of mineral exploration.
Ransford Bediako
Geologist
Ransford graduated from the Kumasi School of Mines in Kumasi, Ghana, in 2005 where he studied geological engineering. He subsequently worked as an exploration geologist for Red Back Mining Company at Chirano for over a year. He is proficient in all current gold exploration techniques, especially soil sampling, trenching and drilling.
Patrick Adu-Gyamfi
Geologist
Patrick studied geological engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana, and graduated in 2003. From there he worked as a trainee geologist at Bibiani gold mine for Ashanti Goldfields and in July 2004 was promoted to project geologist. From September 2004 Patrick worked at Chirano for Red Back Mining Company as an exploration geologist and obtained extensive experience assisting with the supervision and planning of Chirano’s exploration program.
Gemma Cryan
Contract Geologist
Gemma has a Bachelors of Earth Science (Hons) majoring in geology. She has 9 years experience in field exploration, geochemistry and GIS software. Five years were spent working on petroleum resource projects. For the past four years she has worked internationally on epithermal gold and porphyry copper mineral exploration, involving GIS work, field exploration and field camp management.
